Not Much to Say...HA!

There is so much going on in my life right now but nothing exciting enough to share with you all!

Okay I do have a couple of things I should talk about.....

#1 I have been getting in consistent workouts and doing the November 30 Day challenge most days, I am really feeling the muscles develop and I LOVE that!!! I can see definition again in the places where it had seemed to disappear over the last 4-6 weeks. I enjoy feeling strong!

#2 My eating has been on plan but I am really struggling with not being able to eat wheat....I didn't realize just how many foods I eat that contain wheat.
Did I mention already that the doctor confirmed my suspicion that I am definitely showing signs of a wheat allergy and recommended that I refrain from eating it?!?!?

The biggest issue I have had is when I want a sandwich!!!...but this weekend I am going away with my mom for a night in the 'big city' near us and I plan on making a stop at a health food store I have been told about and getting a loaf of bread and wraps that are made with brown rice flour.
Sometimes a lady just NEEDS a slice of bread!!!

#3 Not weighing myself is a huge deal....why???? I wish I had all the answers but I don't.... maybe someone has some insight they can share with me!?!?!?!
I scale is actually gone out of sight and I am not sure where it is which is good because I SO want to get on it to reassure myself that I am doing okay.
But after the issue with my daughter last week I asked my husband to put the scale away so she can not use it and I don't need it until December 5th when I will weigh in again with my group so he got rid of it from its usual location.... so until my next scheduled WI I must resist the urge to hunt down the scale!

That turned out to be quite a long post for someone that didn't have much to say!!

  1. That must have been very difficult with your daughter. I was so sorry to have missed that post...thanks to my blog feed! GRRR! You are a great recognized an issue, identified it and set to change it. She is a lucky girl!

A lady I know who lost over 100 pounds and has kept it off for 15 years, NEVER weighs herself. She knows if she's gaining by her clothes. I am thinking of going this route once I'm out of the 150's.

Have you tried Ezekial bread? They sell it in the health food section at Loblaws stores, or whatever they're called in your area. (Zehrs, Canadian Superstore) It is wheat free bread, and it's delicious!

  2. awesome on the working our Christine!
and you are soooooooooooo right sometimes a girl just needs a slice of bread!!!!
That Ezekiel bread Dawne mentioned is really good...

sounds like you are ticking along nicely!
    Well Done!

    love and light

  3. I too struggle with scale addiction. I think for me it began when I began losing weight, and watching the numbers go down. It began to "validate" the weightloss for me.

Now, it is sickening each time I step on it. not because of the number, but because I still have expectations, yet my drive and determination is so much different then it was back then.

So glad to hear you got your book!

  4. I just went to the health food store last night and got some good quality bread and tortillas. I think they have some sprouted wheat in it though. I was thinking about blogging about these wonderful foods soon in a post about clean eating.

Good job on not weighing in. I weigh in everyday, good or bad, and sometimes wonder if this is such a good idea.

    Have a blessed day!!!

  5. The wheat allergy must be very hard to deal with. I hope you find strength in dealing with this issue. hugs

  6. Ha! Love it! You cutie you! lol! Turned out to be a long post for someone that didn't have much to say.. :) I get that!

I totally hear ya on the scale thing.. I get so sick of having my mood crushed or heightened by it.. I cannot even tell you how annoying that is.. lol! I really do think clothes and measurements are a better way to measure success's truer don't you think?

The whole not eating bread part IS so stinkin' hard! I have eaten some myself just because I wanted to have some.. lol! sigh.. oh the struggle!

Way to go with your November Challenge! Woot woot! I haven't been as consitant with that.. lol! ah me! Have had so many morning appointments lately, and it screws up my whole day of working out.. gah! Loves to you!
