Today I did my first 5km run. I felt great!!!!
I ran the first 19 minutes, walked for 6 minutes and then ran 14 more minutes. That is a total of 39 minutes. I think that is an okay time for my first attempt but I am not positive.
I am looking forward to trying out my Elliptical Trainer later today....I have to assemble it now so I am off to do that.

Congrats! You must feel amazing having managed a 5km run. I know you're going to beat it next time and then you'll feel even better than you do now!

ReplyDeletethat's a freakin' fantastic time!!!!!!!! really, and you walked part of it and still came up with that time... once you run the whole thing, you will have a very very good race time.
ReplyDeletewhen i started my time was that i think, i can get it down to 30 i believe. and yu will have no prob doing that. just to give you an idea... remember to cross train, ie strength training... ie squats... etc...
